On October 22, 2016, the “training class of internal disease diagnosis and treatment for general practitioners” was held successfully by Guangdong Community Health Institute Chronic Disease Prevention, Control and Management Special Committee (hereinafter referred to as Chronic Disease Special Committee) in Yao Autonomous County of Liannan in northwest Guangdong. As a friendly cooperation unit of Chronic Disease Special Committee, Owgels helped held this meaningful training affair all the way. At the same time, Owgels donated supplies for local people and devoted its efforts to medical industry and residents’ health in north region in Guangdong province.

“Training class of internal disease diagnosis and treatment for general practitioners” was the first big training activity of Chronic Disease Special Committee since it was established. Chairman of Chronic Disease Special Committee, director of the respiratory department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Clinical Medicine of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, Tan Jie negotiated with the director of the People's Hospital of Liannan county, Dong Qunwei for many times to set a highly targeted primary care training topic.

Members of Chronic Disease Special Committee who participated the training included top experts in the field of breathing, endocrine and cardiovascular, including associate professor of the Third Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University and associate chief physician, Xu Wen, chief physician of Guangzhou First People’s Hospital, Ma Wei, vice director of the Third Affiliated Hospital, Sun Yat-Sen University, Zhou Yuqi, director of Guangzhou Twelfth People’s Hospital, Li Wanmei, associate chief physician of General Hospital of Guangzhou Military Command of PLA, Ruan Yunjun, chief physician of Guangzhou Chest Hospital, Chen Pinru, associate chief physician of the First Affiliated Hospital of Clinical Medicine of Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, Zeng Zhihuan, director of Qingyuan People’s Hospital, Zeng Feng, chief physician of Guangzhou Institute of Respiratory Disease, Zhou Luqian etc, and they provided professional teaching and detailed explanation around the diagnosis and treatment of community acquired pneumonia, mycobacterium infection in respiratory system and chronic obstructive pulmonary. Where, director Zhou Luqian introduced with emphasis on the great influence of oxygen therapy on the treatment of chronic respiratory diseases such as COPD. More than 300 people from medical institutions, disease control institutions and community health service centers at all levels in Shaoguan and Qingyuan attended the training and the scene was in warmly atmosphere with constant questioning of medical workers.

During the training process, another topic was noticeable: Owgels presented local COPD patients in Liannan with several 5L oxygenators. Such action aroused concern of the local media and Liannan television interviewed the recipients. For old people who can only go to hospital from mountain area regularly, undoubtedly, the oxygenator brings great convenience for their lives. “because of difficulty in breathing, I was usually sent to hospital for oxygen uptake which will make me feel better, with this oxygenator, my life is more convenient”, the old man showed his appreciation to staff of Owgels medical department again and again. The high quality of Owgels oxygenator obtained high praise from participants and doctors.
